With a nice reddish-brown color, nice cap and a perfect roll, the Montecristo Edmundo provides a firm feel to one’s sense of touch. It also provides an even burn featuring solid ashes that is firm and will not fall out unless tapped. The aroma during the pre-light is not really much, yet it’s completely surprising during the onset of the smoke. Leathery, nutty and spicy flavors welcome the palate with some floral undertones in it. As the flavor intensifies, the smoke reaches its end with a bolder power and finishes with a peppery flavor.
